Welcome to Tapping Primary School.

We are a proud Kindergarten to Year 6 school located on Wadjuk Noongar boodja, within the Wanneroo Education Network. Tapping is a place where relationships matter, where students are at the centre of every decision, and where school is a place of connection, engagement, and belonging.

At our core, we are committed to creating opportunities for every student to grow, achieve, and feel a genuine sense of success. This is grounded in the way we treat one another each day, with respect, with empathy, and with a shared focus on achievement for all.

We believe that strong, authentic relationships are the foundation for everything we do. When students feel known, listened to, and cared for, they are far more likely to engage in their learning and thrive. You will see this in our classrooms and playgrounds, in the way our staff interact with students, and in the positive, welcoming feel of our school. There is a warmth here, plenty of smiles, and a strong sense that this is a place where children enjoy being.

Our staff are committed to high-quality teaching and creating learning environments that are clear, purposeful, and engaging. We hold high expectations for every student, while supporting their academic, social, emotional, and physical development. We want our students to not only achieve, but to develop the confidence, resilience, and character that will support them well beyond primary school.
